Celebrate the Year of the Tiger at Eight

Enjoy the ambience created by our stunning Chinese lanterns and decor as you celebrate the Year of the Tiger. At lunch, there are delicious dishes such as steamed whole fish, sesame bok choy, traditional dim sum, crispy Chinese pork, sweet and sour chicken and more.

For dinner, there’s a special treat with dishes such as Peking duck with pancakes, Singapore crab, scallops, whole roasted duck, wood fire chilli beef ribs and XO marinated beef sirloin. 

For dessert, tempting traditional treats such as mango and coconut chou, red bean tiramisu, green tea crème brulee and black sesame roll will ensure a sweet start to the Year of the Tiger.

Mandatory Vaccination Requirements for Hospitality

Auckland is now under the COVID-19 Protection Framework – Orange.

From 31 December, a full buffet service is available at Eight. All guests and visitors to the hotel including restaurant/bar patrons at Eight Restaurant, Chandelier Lounge and Our Land is Alive, must provide proof on arrival of their COVID-19 vaccination certificate or official medical exemption to enter the hotel.

Children over 12 years must be fully vaccinated; children under 12 years do not need to be vaccinated if accompanied by fully vaccinated adults.

Evidence can be shown through your My Covid Record, which can be accessed through your My Health Account. All staff working at Cordis Auckland are fully vaccinated. For further information on COVID-19, please visit the Ministry of Health website.
